Trek

Another day, another crazy adventure!
The sun was above our head and was burning hot since the beginning of the trek.
But it couldn't stop us from starting it off the jungle way. All of us had their inner kid out and we played at a small garden and relived our childhood memories of playing in the park.
As the trek progressed, we hopped onto a couple of small ponds on the way and got all drenched. It was very satisfying and so much needed.
Then as the gradient of the surface stated inclining a bit, everyone motivated and cheered up each other to reach the apex.
We shared eating chocolates and went monkeying around on some trees. As the sun was out again, it got difficult to trek but with motivation and constant support to each other, everyone completed the trek in pretty decent time.
After resting for some time in caves, we had lip-smacking tasty local Maharashtrian food, which was just the boost that was needed to get energized again.
Post that we were supposed to go to watch the mesmerizing show of clouds but Mother Nature had some other plans for us.
Instead, we stumbled upon a Plateau which was spread like an endless carpet full of little sunflowers.
We clicked many photos over there and rested at a small cliff.
Then post-tea came the surprise from the trek lead: A SNAKE. It was a bamboo pit viper, such a flawless and strikingly beautiful animal.
We then proceeded to "Nanacha Angtha"- the highest possible point at Naneghat. It was an easy 15-20 minute climb and as expected, the view from the top was totally worth it. The strong wind combined with a few minutes of drizzling resulted into a rainbow.
We were in awe!
After enjoying this magical show of nature, our bus was there at the top itself, to pick us up. We came back ROAD TRIPPING across Malshej Ghats and the journey while coming back indescribable.
All in all, this was the most wholesome trek we've done in a long time.
