THE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
When life first gave me lemons,
I was only seven.
The bullies crept up to their way slowly into my life,
It was the first time I held up a knife.
Slow and steady I turned twelve,
My friends slowly replaced my soul and self.
And then came sweet sixteen,
She'd replaced me as daddy's queen.
Two years later I turned eighteen,
It was the worst of my teens.
Toxins we're flowing through my veins,
The world was messing with my brain.
All of a sudden I was Twenty-one,
I was forcefully married and gone.
I didn't wanna end up alone,
I just wanted to study and carry on
Just when I turned twenty-four,
And I couldn't take it anymore,
The scars had turned me sore.
Mostly lying and weeping on the floor,
I was expecting it the least-
My knight in shining armor,
Rescued his beauty from the beast.
