My New Habit
Writing is something we did regularly during our school days. Be it in classrooms, doing our homework, preparing for exams, etc. However, It eventually faded like the phases of the moon. These days, writing, sadly only means sending emails, texting & replying to social media stories.
But what if I tell you that there's a way to keep writing in this Digital era too!? Reaching out people through it? Making a mark, touching souls, leaving an impact, communicating your thoughts, expressing your feelings and what not!! You probably must have guessed it right by now! Blogs!!
The Perpetual Covid-19 global pandemic not only forced us to stay home, but also made us agnostic! After the surge in the cases all over the globe, unwillingly, we kind of got used to it. People, who had absolutely no clue of what life had for them, finally started taking out time for things they wanted to do since a very long time but they'd somehow kept procrastinating! Even I, who was sailing on the same boat, did the same thing. I started reading books. And voila! It became a habit!! Reading not only increased my knowledge, but also helped me increase my vocabulary. I've been reading ever since.
After reading a few books, acquiring facts, new vocabulary words, etc. I felt the urge to share it with everyone else. I thought of starting blogs but didn't know what I'd write or maybe deep down I was angstful whether anyone would read them or like them for that matter. A complete year passed by and I finally took the chance to write a blog. I got interviewed by my rotaract club president when I mentioned him that I'm interested in looking after the Editorial part of our club. He was merry to know this and asked me to write a blog just to see if I've got what it takes. So, well, here's the Very First blog I've ever written, and yes, I'm just getting started!!
I very well know that this might not be even close to perfect but I'm sure I'll get better with time! Also, I'd like to say this to everyone who's reading this ; Good things come to those who wait, but the Best ones come to those who don't!!
