Skin care is self care.
This one question is often asked, why skincare is important?
It is not actually about making your skin the most perfect one, it's about making your body and skin an important part of your daily busy life. If we can contribute 15 minutes of our lives to our skin, it can make a huge impact on our skin. The best way to love yourself is to take skincare. I love trying new face masks and new skincare products. Shopping for skincare and makeup products online is therapeutic for me. I take my own sweet time to apply the masks, make the masks. I often listen to music when I have a mask on my face. I have even created a lot of masks on my own, not just randomly but actually researching about all the ingredients and then mixing them together. and I am proud to say that till now only 1 of my masks has actually failed.
Since childhood, I was never into makeup or skincare. I used to barely wash my face, which I find very surprising now. I was always a tomboy. I don't ever remember myself playing with a barbie or any girl toys. Cars were my favorite. When I entered my college life I used to look at other girls and wonder how do they manage to apply so much makeup every morning and how do they have such beautiful skin? Later in the second year, I met one friend and she introduced me to a lot of makeup products, And now she asks me about skincare and makeup which makes me realize that I have grown up so much in these past two years.
The only person who knows your skin really well is you. Even if I suggest hundreds of skincare products, only you will know how your skin reacts to the products and what differences are visible. It's not always a one time win, you have to try a lot of products to find your right one. Trust me after 7 moisturizers I have found the one that actually suits my skin. It is mandatory to visit a dermatologist to know and learn about your skin problems. What we do is we start applying a lot of things on our skin and make the problems more aggressive which leads to a lot of things on our skin and makes the problems more aggressive which leads to a lot of breakouts and patches and irritation. Research about all the ingredients mentioned behind the product's bottle, can, box, etc. always make sure you read the mentioned ingredients and then only invest your money into it.
Make sure you take good care of your skin and make yourself feel good. Make sure you at least pamper your skin and your body once a week and trust me this will be very helpful in the very long run.
